Job summary

Stantec’s Environmental Services Cultural Resources Team is seeking archaeologists to support field directors and project managers across multiple states, including Oregon and Washington. The role involves pre-field planning, cultural surveys, monitoring, and data collection in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s in Anthropology or Archaeology and at least 1 year of CRM experience, with willingness to travel and work in varied field conditions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology or Archaeology is required.
• CRM experience of at least 1 year is expected.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced team.

Responsibilities

• Directly support archaeological field directors and project managers in pre-field planning, surveys, and monitoring.
• Exhibit good field skills; work independently or in a crew.
• Identify and record areas of archaeological potential and sites.
• Collect appropriate field data and support construction planning
