Job summary

Stantec’s Environmental Services Cultural Resources Team in Oregon and Washington is seeking motivated archaeologists to help grow our program. You will work across multiple offices, receiving mentorship and flexible scheduling to balance fieldwork and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities include field surveys, monitoring, data collection, and aiding in construction planning. Travel to out-of-town sites up to two weeks at a time is required; strong communication and safety culture are

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology or Archaeology.
• 1 year CRM experience.
• Experience with both small and large archaeological crews.

Responsibilities

• Directly support field directors and project managers with pre-field planning, surveys and monitoring.
• Exhibit good field skills; work independently or in a crew.
• Identify areas of archaeological potential, sites, and traditional use sites.
• Collect relevant field data.
• Support construction planning.
