Job summary

Stantec is seeking archaeological staff to join the Environmental Services Cultural Resources Team, supporting projects across multiple western states. The role involves field surveys, data collection, and coordination with project managers and field directors.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Anthropology/Archaeology, CRM experience, and the ability to travel up to two weeks. Proficiency with GPS devices and field software is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Anthropology or Archaeology.
• 1 year minimum CRM experience.
• Experience with small and large archaeological crews.
• Willing to travel up to 2 weeks at a time.
• Proficient with state forms and field data collection.

Responsibilities

• Directly support field directors and project managers with pre-field planning, cultural surveys, and monitoring.
• Exhibit field skills and work independently or in a crew.
• Identify and record archaeological potential areas and sites.
• Collect appropriate field data.
• Support construction planning.
