Job summary

Magellan Federal seeks a Part Time On Call ID Card Specialist in Annapolis, MD to support the Navy ICA program at DEERS/RAPIDS sites. You will serve as a CAC/ID card custodian and Verifying Official, handling sensitive DoD entitlements with accuracy.

You will enroll and update DEERS records, process CACs, reset PINs, and answer customer questions while maintaining RAPIDS equipment and ensuring compliance with DoD regulations. U.S. citizenship and NACLC clearance are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years experience in a Customer Service environment.
• HR background in Military Pay, Military Personnel, Travel Claims or Navy Transportation.
• Substitutions for HR background from private sector or other Federal Agency.
• Proficient in both oral and written communication to explain complex actions regarding military entitlements.

Responsibilities

• Provide ID Card services to Navy personnel, retirees, dependents, and contractors.
• Verify identity and eligibility as Verifying Official on DEERS/RAPIDS terminals.
• Operate RAPIDS workstations and process CACs.
• Reconcile DEERS enrollment and updates; PIN resets; update PKI certificates.
• Answer inquiries and provide ICA services as needed.
• Maintain RAPIDS equipment and perform User Maintenance on RAPIDS.
