Job summary

You will issue DoD IDs, verify eligibility, and operate RAPIDS/CAC terminals, delivering service to active duty, retirees, dependents, and contractors. Candidates should have a high school diploma, 1+ year in customer service, and MS Office skills; HR background in military pay or personnel is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years’ experience in a Customer Service environment.
• HR background in Military Pay, Military Personnel, Travel Claims or Navy Transportation.
• Substitutions for HR background can be from similar experience in private sector or other Federal Agency.
• Proficient in oral and written communication to explain complex actions regarding military entitlements, allowances and collections.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Must be U.S. citizen and possess favorably adjudicated Tier 3 (NACLC) security investigation.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional military personnel support services to the U.S. Navy’s ICA program at DEERS/RAPIDS sites.
• Operates RAPIDS workstations, processes CACs, and answers questions about DEERS and eligibility.
• Verifies identity and eligibility of DoD beneficiaries and issues DoD Identification Cards.
• Maintains DEERS updates, inputs PKI certificates, and handles PIN resets as required.
• Works in a security-conscious environment and supports related ICA services as needed.
