Job summary

Magellan Federal seeks a Lead ID Card Specialist to support the Navy Identification Card Administration (ICA) program at a Navy installation in Orlando, FL. The role may operate as a single-person site or as a Team Leader for multiple ID card specialists, delivering DoD ID/CAC services and DEERS updates.

You will verify beneficiary eligibility, issue DoD identification cards, maintain RAPIDS workstations, and ensure secure handling of CACs. A U.S. citizen with NACLC clearance is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years' experience in a Customer Service environment.
• HR background in Military Pay, Military Personnel, Travel Claims or Navy Transportation or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in oral and written communication; able to explain complex actions regarding entitlements.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
• Working knowledge of standard office equipment (computers, copiers, scanners).
• Must be a U.S. citizen and possess favorably adjudicated Tier 3 (NACLC) security investigation.

Responsibilities

• Provide ID Card/CAC customer service.
• Verify identity and eligibility of DoD beneficiaries.
• Operate RAPIDS terminals and issue DoD IDs.
• Maintain DEERS enrollment and updates; PIN resets and PKI certificates.
• Ensure safekeeping and accountability of CAC and related materials.
• Assist customers with DEERS, PKI, and related services as required.
