Job summary

Magellan Health, Inc. seeks a Part Time Intermittent ID Card Specialist in Jacksonville, FL to deliver ID Card and DEERS/RAPIDS services. You will verify eligibility as a Verifying Official, operate RAPIDS equipment, and assist customers with DEERS requirements.

Responsibilities include issuing DoD Identification Cards, updating DEERS data, handling PIN resets, and supporting security tasks as needed. A High School diploma and 1+ year customer service experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years’ experience in a Customer Service environment.
• HR background in Military Pay, Military Personnel, Travel Claims or Navy Transportation.
• Substitutions for HR background can be from similar experience or other Federal Agency.
• Proficient in oral and written communication regarding military entitlements, allowances and collections.
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional ID Card services to DoD beneficiaries at DEERS/RAPIDS sites.
• Verify identity and eligibility as a Verifying Official (VO).
• Operate RAPIDS workstations and process CACs.
• Maintain accuracy of inputted data and DEERS updates.
• Assist customers with questions about DEERS and eligibility.
• Accept PIN resets and PKI certificate updates as part of ICA services.
• May serve as Site Security Manager (SSM) and safeguard CAC assets.
