Job summary

Magellan Health is seeking a Part Time Intermittent ID Card Specialist in Indian Head, MD to support DEERS/RAPIDS and ICA operations. You will verify identities, issue DoD IDs, and assist customers with eligibility, enrollment, and PIN resets while maintaining secure RAPIDS equipment and CAC control.

The role requires a High School diploma and 1+ year of customer service experience, with an HR background in military pay or personnel advantageous.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in a Customer Service environment.
• HR background in Military Pay, Military Personnel, Travel Claims or Navy Transportation.
• Proficient in communicating complex actions regarding military entitlements and collections.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Provides professional military personnel support services to DEERS/RAPIDS and ICA programs.
• Acts as Verifying Official (VO) on DEERS/RAPIDS terminals and verifies beneficiary data.
• Issues DoD Identification Cards and manages DEERS updates per DoD regulations.
• Maintains RAPIDS equipment and assists customers with eligibility questions and inquiries.
• May be certified as Site Security Manager (SSM) and handle CAC storage and security.
