Job summary

WSP USA is expanding its On Call Emergency Management Recovery Cadre and seeks qualified On Call Emergency Management Specialists to support disaster recovery operations. Roles require travel to client sites nationwide with 24-48 hours notice and are not full-time, being project-dependent.

Selected candidates must be available to deploy anywhere in the United States and endure demanding schedules, including extended hours. Prior EM experience and FEMA program familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• HS diploma required.
• 7 years professional exp incl 1+ years in an Emergency Management role.
• Knowledge of Emergency Management principles and methods.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
• Travel to client sites required.
• Must pass WSP Motor Vehicle screening.
• Commitment to ethical conduct and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Support clients through all phases of disaster recovery, including funding, documentation, and rebuilding processes.
• Deploy to Emergency Operations Centers and Field Sites to support recovery operations.
• Manage recovery projects from initiation to closeout with quality and on-time delivery.
• Utilize grant management systems to monitor progress and funding milestones.
• Maintain knowledge of procurement, contracting, and grant compliance across disaster funding sources.
• Attend training to stay current on recovery program policies.
