Job summary

WSP USA is seeking On Call Emergency Management Specialists for recovery deployment across the United States. This on‑call role supports disaster recovery operations, coordinating logistics, documentation, and funding with federal/state programs.

Candidates must be able to travel with short notice, endure extended hours, and deploy to client sites nationwide. This is not a full‑time position; work is project dependent and based on deployment opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• FEMA Emergency Management Institute Independent Study - Professional Development Series certification.
• Travel Required - Must be able to travel to client sites as project warrants
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support disaster recovery operations in deployment across the United States.
• Deploy to Emergency Operations Centers and Field Staging Areas.
• Manage logistics, supply coordination, and cost documentation for recovery projects.
• Review applications, documentation, and inspection reports for compliance with FEMA/HUD programs.
• Monitor grant management systems and track funding milestones across projects.
• Collaborate with federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial stakeholders to advance recovery initiatives.
