Job summary

Avanath Capital LLC is seeking a maintenance technician to service multifamily communities in the Portland area. You will perform hands-on repairs, complete work orders from resident requests, and help prepare units for new move-ins while maintaining common areas.

The role requires 2 years of experience, on-call availability, and reliable transportation. EPA Type II/Universal certification is preferred. We offer competitive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 2 years of multifamily maintenance experience preferred.
• Hands-on maintenance skills: plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, appliances, pools.
• EPA Type II or Universal certification preferred; CPO a plus.
• On-call availability and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service with every interaction and maintenance task.
• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance.
• Finish make-ready process for vacant apartments and prepare for new move-ins.
• Assist in maintaining grounds and common areas; perform cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
• Follow safety procedures and report issues to management.
