Job summary

Avanath is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our communities in top condition and to deliver excellent resident service. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, fix systems, and respond to resident requests while upholding safety standards.

Ideal candidates will have multifamily maintenance experience, relevant certifications, and a teamwork mindset. This on-site role offers stability, growth opportunities, and a supportive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 2 years of multifamily maintenance experience preferred.
• Hands-on skills: plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, pools.
• EPA Type II or Universal certification preferred; CPO a plus.
• Available to be on-call for emergencies.
• Reliable transportation and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and high-quality maintenance.
• Complete work orders and preventative maintenance on the property.
• Make-ready vacant homes, schedule vendors, and track supplies.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and perform painting as needed.
• Follow safety policies and report risks to management.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate reorders with the maintenance supervisor.
