Job summary

Avanath Capital Management, LLC in Florida is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain the property, ensuring good working order and curb appeal while delivering excellent resident service. You will complete work orders, perform preventative maintenance, and support safety and compliance across the property.

You should have hands-on maintenance skills, be able to work independently or with a team, and be available for on-call emergencies.

Qualifications

• 2 years of multifamily maintenance experience is highly desired.
• Hands-on maintenance skills including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, appliances, pools, etc.
• EPA Type II or Universal certification is highly desired; CPO is a plus.
• Availability to be on-call to address emergencies.
• Reliable transportation.
• Superior customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work both independently and as a member of a team.
• Basic computer knowledge (Windows Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service with every interaction and high-quality maintenance service.
• Complete assigned work orders and preventative maintenance per policies and safety standards.
• Complete make-ready process to prepare vacant homes for leasing and move-ins.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities; perform cleaning and painting as needed.
• Assist in cost-cutting and inventory management; conduct routine safety inspections.
• Follow safety procedures and regulatory requirements; report accidents or issues promptly.
