Job summary

YES Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to help keep our manufactured housing communities safe and well-maintained. You will interact with residents, handle service requests, inspect properties, and support the upkeep of community assets. Teamwork and reliability are essential in this role.

The position emphasizes preventative maintenance, timely completion of work orders, and adherence to safety standards while supporting new home delivery, setup, and resident communications.

Qualifications

• A valid in-state driver’s license is required.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Pool Operation experience are a PLUS.
• OSHA certifications or completed trainings are a plus.
• Proficiency in industry specific software products including the use of electronic devices/tablets.

Responsibilities

• Maintain rental inventory through preventative maintenance, work orders, and home refurbishments.
• Keep community grounds, common areas, and vacant lots clean and free of debris.
• Complete work in a timely manner while maintaining quality and safety standards.
• Respond to after-hours emergency calls per on-call schedule.
• Read water meters, identify leaks, and resolve issues within the community.
