Job summary

YES Communities seeks a Maintenance Technician to keep the community grounds safe, organized, and stocked with supplies. You will interact with residents and ensure timely completion of service requests and inspections, while supporting upkeep of assets and grounds.

Teamwork and safety are essential in daily operations. You will also aid in home delivery, report warranty issues, and participate in safety meetings, with on-site responsibilities including snow removal and vehicle operation

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• A valid in-state driver’s license is required.
• Previous home refurbishment or make-ready experience preferred.
• HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Pool Operation experience are a PLUS.
• OSHA certifications or completed trainings are a plus.
• Proficiency in industry specific software products including the use of electronic devices/tablets.

Responsibilities

• Maintain community grounds and common areas in a safe, organized condition.
• Respond to service requests and inspections promptly.
• Read water meters, identify leaks, and coordinate repairs with management.
• Assist with new home delivery, set-up, and report warranty work.
• Operate and maintain company vehicles per safety standards.
• Adhere to OSHA standards and use PPE as required.
