Job summary

YES Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep community grounds safe, organized, and well-stocked. You will interact with residents, handle service requests, and assist with inspections and upkeep of assets. Teamwork and safety are emphasized throughout the role.

The position may require after-hours work, driving company vehicles, and readiness to manage supplies and equipment across property grounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• A valid in-state driver’s license is required.
• OSHA certifications or completed trainings are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain rental inventory through preventative maintenance, work-orders, and home refurbishments.
• Keep community grounds, common areas, and vacant lots clean and free of debris and trash.
• Complete all work in a timely manner, without sacrificing quality or safety standards.
• Respond to after-hours emergency calls according to on-call schedule.
• Read water meters, identify, and resolve leaks within the community as applicable.
• Organize maintenance facilities, tools, and equipment.
• Aid in new home delivery and set-up and report any warranty/follow-up work to management.
• Deliver resident notices as requested by management.
• Participate in all required team/safety meetings.
• Uphold OSHA standards and maintain PPE as required by State law.
• Maintain safe winter road conditions through snow removal and de-icing when applicable.
• Operate and maintain all company vehicles according to compliance and safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members, vendors, and residents.
• Ability to work safely around pets, service animals, and wildlife.

Education
