Job summary

YES Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep residential communities safe, clean, and well‑stocked. You will handle inspections, respond to service requests, coordinate with residents and vendors, and assist with new home deliveries and set‑ups. OSHA standards and on‑call duties are part of the role.

The position emphasizes on‑site maintenance across community assets, with emphasis on safety, teamwork, and effective communication with residents and management.

Qualifications

• A valid in-state driver's license is required.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous home refurbishment or make-ready experience preferred.
• HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Pool Operation experience are a PLUS.
• OSHA certifications or completed trainings are a plus.
• Proficiency in industry specific software products including the use of electronic devices/tablets.

Responsibilities

• Maintain rental inventory through preventative maintenance, work-orders, and home refurbs.
• Keep the community grounds, common areas, and vacant lots clean and free of debris and trash.
• Complete all work in a timely manner, without sacrificing quality or safety standards.
• Respond to after-hour emergency calls according to on-call schedule.
• Read water meters, identify, and resolve leaks within the community as applicable.
• Organize maintenance facilities, tools, and equipment.
