Job summary

YES Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep the community grounds safe, organized, and well-maintained. You will interact with residents, ensure timely completion of service requests and inspections, and support upkeep of community assets and grounds.

You will participate in safety meetings, adhere to OSHA standards, read meters, respond to after-hours calls, and assist with home delivery/setup as needed. Competitive benefits and a team‑oriented environment are provided.

Qualifications

• A valid in-state driver’s license is required.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous home refurbishment or make-ready experience preferred.
• HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Pool Operation experience are a plus.
• OSHA certifications or trainings are a plus.
• Proficiency with industry software and electronic devices/tablets.

Responsibilities

• Maintain rental inventory through preventative maintenance, work orders, and home refurbishments.
• Keep community grounds, common areas, and vacant lots clean and safe.
• Complete work promptly while upholding safety standards.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies per on-call schedule.
• Read water meters and identify leaks; resolve as applicable.
• Organize maintenance facilities, tools, and equipment.
• Assist with new home delivery and setup; report warranty work.
