Job summary

YES Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep the community safe, organized, and well-maintained, with timely responses to service requests and inspections. You will help with asset upkeep, assist in home delivery and setup, and communicate effectively with residents and management.

The role requires driving, OSHA awareness, and the ability to work with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and pool operations while following safety standards and on-call duties.

Qualifications

• A valid in-state driver's license is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• OSHA certifications or trainings are a plus.
• HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Pool Operation experience are a plus.
• Proficiency with industry software and electronic devices/tablets.

Responsibilities

• Maintain rental inventory through preventative maintenance, work-orders, and home refurbishments.
• Keep community grounds, common areas, and vacant lots clean and debris-free.
• Complete work timely without sacrificing safety standards.
• Respond to after-hours emergency calls per on-call schedule.
• Read water meters and identify leaks; resolve where applicable.
• Organize maintenance facilities, tools, and equipment.
• Assist in new home delivery/set-up and report warranty/follow-up work.
