Job summary

YES Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep community grounds safe, organized, and well-maintained. You will interact with residents and ensure timely completion of service requests and inspections, while upholding safety standards and maintaining community assets and grounds.

Teamwork is essential, and you may participate in on-call schedules and emergencies as needed, with a focus on reliable, quality service in a residential setting.

Qualifications

• A valid in-state driver’s license is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous home refurbishment or make-ready experience preferred.
• HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Pool Operation experience are a PLUS.
• OSHA certifications or completed trainings are a plus.
• Proficiency in industry specific software products including the use of electronic devices/tablets.

Responsibilities

• Maintain rental inventory through preventative maintenance, work-orders, and home refurbishments.
• Keep the community grounds, common areas, and vacant lots clean and free of debris.
• Complete all work in a timely manner, without sacrificing quality or safety standards.
• Read water meters, identify leaks, and report findings as applicable.
• Aid in new home delivery and set-up and report warranty/follow-up work to management.
• Deliver resident notices as requested by management.
• Participate in all required team/safety meetings.
• Operate and maintain all company vehicles according to safety standards.
