Amentum is seeking a Biometric Technician to support USCIS Application Support Center operations in Alexandria, VA. This on-call (casual) role requires availability five days a week, 7:45am–4:15pm, with no guaranteed schedule, and involves biometric processing, crowd control, and frontline customer service for applicants and visitors.

Responsibilities include registering biometrics, verifying appointments, safeguarding PII, and assisting site staff.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must speak and write in English.
• Ability to stand for scheduled shift duration.
• Ability to hold and grasp fingerprints.
• Ability to work in a high-paced environment with the public.
• Ability to type and use basic computer skills.
• Complete biometrics training and become certified within 60 days.

Responsabilités

• Complete biometrics registration for applicants seeking legal immigration to the United States.
• Ensure all entrants are approved and help staff enforce ASC rules and policies.
• Provide front-line customer service as a representative of Amentum and the U.S. government.
• Provide courteous, respectful service to applicants and visitors.
• Perform quality biometrics processing including fingerprints, photos, and signatures.
