Job summary

Stantec’s Environmental Services Cultural Resources Team seeks innovative Archaeology staff to support field surveys, data collection, and monitoring across multiple western offices. The role emphasizes collaboration, safety, and a willingness to travel for project needs in multi-state locations.

Qualified candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Anthropology or Archaeology, with CRM experience and ability to work in diverse teams on federal or tribal projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Anthropology or Archaeology.
  • 1 year minimum of CRM experience.
  • Experience with both small and large archaeological crews.

Responsibilities

  • Directly support archaeological field directors and project managers by assisting with pre-field planning, cultural surveys, and monitoring
  • Exhibit good field skills and can work independently and as part of a crew
  • Participate in identifying and recording areas of archaeological potential, archaeological sites, and traditional use sites
  • Collect appropriate field data
  • Support construction planning
