Job summary

Stantec is seeking archaeologists to join the Environmental Services Cultural Resources Team. Responsibilities include field surveys, data collection, and supporting project planning across multiple western states.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, travel up to two weeks, and engage with Native American communities as needed. Ideal candidates hold a BA in Anthropology/Archaeology, CRM experience, and GPS/software proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology or Archaeology.
• 1 year CRM experience minimum.
• Experience with small and large archaeological crews.

Responsibilities

• Support field directors and project managers with pre-field planning, surveys, and monitoring.
• Work independently and as part of a crew.
• Identify and record areas of archaeological potential, sites, and traditional use sites.
• Collect field data.
• Support construction planning.
