Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. seeks a Sales Manager for the Loveland, CO store to lead selling culture and strong customer experiences. You will oversee front-end and service operations, coach teams, and ensure policy and SOP compliance to drive KPI results.

You will manage POS, Self-Checkout, and in-store programs like Balloons, Loyalty, and Knit & Sew Shop activities, while supporting omni-channel order fulfillment and framing services. Evening and weekend shifts required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and early mornings.
• Must satisfy federal, state and local legal requirements in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to SOPs and Company programs.
• Ensure execution of policies and standards, holding team accountable.
• Coach customer experience and selling behaviors to drive conversion and satisfaction.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership.
• Oversee POS and Self-Checkout systems for smooth transactions.
• Oversee Balloon business, birthday party operations, and in-store programs.
• Promote Loyalty Rewards Program to drive retention.
• Drive Knit & Sew Shop and Cut Bar experience oversight.
• Ensure timely BOPIS and Same Day Delivery execution.
• Support Custom Framing operations and frame shop coordination.
• Train and develop team across departments.
• Maintain Asset Protection practices to reduce shrink.
