Job summary

Latham & Watkins is seeking an OGC Analyst – Conflicts, Laterals to join its Office of the General Counsel. The role analyzes conflicts reports for incoming lateral candidates across offices, ensuring accuracy per the conflicts questionnaire and jurisdictional requirements.

Hybrid in Boston, New York, Houston, Los Angeles, or DC. Responsibilities include administering conflicts reviews, guiding staff, and preparing summaries of conflicts resolutions for sponsoring attorneys and recruiting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; minimum four years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum of three years of relevant experience in a law firm or other professional services firm.
• Experience with Intapp Open software, preferably.

Responsibilities

• Administering the conflicts review for all lateral attorney candidates and assisting with the conflicts questionnaire.
• Obtaining guidance from attorneys or Conflicts staff to evaluate lateral conflicts checks across jurisdictions.
• Analyzing conflicts reports to determine matters needing additional review and communicating follow-up questions.
