Job summary

Latham & Watkins is seeking an OGC Analyst – Conflicts, Laterals to join the Office of the General Counsel. The role involves analyzing conflicts reports for incoming lateral candidates, including partners, counsel, and associates, and ensuring checks comply with jurisdictional requirements.

The position supports a hybrid in-office schedule across eligible U.S. offices, with a focus on accuracy, confidentiality, and efficient triage of work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; minimum four years of relevant experience.
• At least three years of relevant experience in a law firm or professional services firm.
• Experience with Intapp Open software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administering the conflicts review for all lateral attorney candidates, including assisting with the conflicts questionnaire.
• Obtaining guidance from attorneys or Conflicts staff to evaluate lateral conflicts checks across jurisdictions.
• Analyzing conflicts reports to identify matters needing further review and communicating follow-up questions.
• Preparing a summary of conflicts report analyses and reporting conflicts resolutions to sponsoring attorneys and recruiting departments.
• Working with OGC leadership to prioritize work and follow guidance from supervisors.
