Job summary

Latham & Watkins LLP is seeking an OGC Analyst – Conflicts to join the Office of the General Counsel. You will analyze conflicts reports for incoming lateral candidates across offices, ensuring accuracy of the conflicts questionnaire submissions. The role offers hybrid and in-office options in multiple U.S.

offices, including Boston. Ideal candidates have 4+ years of relevant experience, strong analytical skills, and familiarity with law-firm conflicts checks; a Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; four years of relevant experience may substitute.
• Minimum of three years of relevant experience in a law firm or professional services firm.
• Experience with Intapp Open software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administering the conflicts review for all lateral attorney candidates, including assisting with the conflicts questionnaire.
• Obtaining guidance from attorneys or Conflicts staff who understand requirements in different jurisdictions to evaluate the conflicts check.
• Analyzing conflicts reports to determine items needing additional review or ethics committee action.
• Preparing a summary of information from the conflicts analysis and reporting resolution to sponsoring attorneys and recruiting teams.
• Working with OGC leadership to triage work and follow supervisory guidance.
• Protecting highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and proprietary information.
