Job summary

Cornerstone Caregiving is seeking an Assistant Operating Director to lead in-office operations, scheduling oversight, staff support, and client care quality. This role reports as second-in-command to the Operating Director, focusing on building a cohesive team and ensuring high standards of service for seniors and families.

You will supervise office staff, conduct coaching and reviews, manage onboarding, and participate in recruitment efforts to support nationwide growth.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in management, leadership operations, or human resources.
• Experience hiring, recruiting, training, scheduling, and supervising staff.
• Healthcare or home care leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong organizational and operational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee in-office scheduling operations for timely client coverage.
• Respond to client escalations with urgency and empathy.
• Conduct check-in calls, quality visits, and client follow-ups.
• Ensure state-required supervisory visits where applicable.
• Back up for client assessments when the Operating Director is unavailable.
• Onboard and train new office managers and support staff.
