Job summary

Cornerstone Caregiving in Akron, OH, seeks an Assistant Operating Director to lead the in-office team, supervise scheduling and operations, and share on-call duties with other managers. You will report to the Operating Director and help drive client satisfaction.

The role requires proven leadership, strong communication, and ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Google Workspace is preferred and travel is limited.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or higher; 2+ years in office administration or managing sales, customer service, and HR within an office setting.
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred; may substitute with education/experience mix.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and support office managers to ensure effective performance and alignment with standards.
• Serve as primary liaison between the office and Home Base, including payroll notes and shift verification.
• Handle client escalations, perform check-up calls, and complete quality visits.
