Job summary

Cornerstone Caregiving is a nationwide home care provider focused on helping seniors age in place with dignity and quality. The Assistant Operating Director will lead in-office staff, oversee scheduling, administrative, and operational functions, and share on-call responsibilities with other managers to ensure seamless service.

The role requires managing client interactions, ensuring state compliance, and coordinating with Home Base.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associates and/or Bachelor Degree; may substitute Degree requirement with a combination of education/experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Valid state required proof of auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and support office managers to ensure effective performance and alignment with company standards.
• Serve as the primary liaison between the office and Home Base, including payroll notes and shift verification.
• Handle client escalations, conduct check-up calls, and complete quality visits to maintain client satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with state standards through required supervisory visits.
• Participate in on-call rotation to respond to client or operations needs after hours.
• Serve as a backup for client assessments when the Operations Director is unavailable.
