Job summary

WEG Electric Corp. is seeking a Business Development Manager, OEM Automation – HVAC & Pumps, to grow our OEM and contractor base nationwide.

You will drive VFDs, soft starters, and UL508A panel sales, while coordinating with engineers and account managers to deliver tailored automation solutions. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in industrial automation sales, strong OEM relationship experience, and deep knowledge of VFDs, PLCs, and motor controls.

Qualifications

5+ years in business development, technical sales, or account management in industrial automation.
Demonstrated success in developing new business and growing OEM relationships.
Strong knowledge of VFDs, soft starters, industrial controls, motor control.

Responsibilities

Meet sales goals for VFDs, soft starters, industrial controls, and UL508A panels.
Generate and close new business with OEMs and contractors.
Qualify leads to identify viable opportunities and prioritize efforts.
Review specifications of WEG Automation products on target customer's approved vendor list.
Visit customer sites to review technical challenges and new applications for WEG Automation products.
Coordinate with Product Managers, Application Engineers, and Service personnel to define custom product solutions and services.
Analyze financial data and sales metrics to forecast revenue and identify improvements.
Prepare reports and presentations to track KPIs and stakeholders progress.
