Job summary

WEG Electric Corp. is seeking a Business Development Manager, OEM Automation – HVAC & Pumps, to grow our automation business with OEMs, package builders, and contractors nationwide.

You will focus on pumps, HVAC, and fluid-handling applications, developing relationships and delivering automation solutions to improve performance and efficiency. Ideal candidates reside near Philadelphia, PA or a major regional airport.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of business development, technical sales, application engineering, or account management in industrial automation or related industry.
• Demonstrated success in developing new business and growing OEM relationships.
• Strong knowledge of VFDs, soft starters, industrial controls, motor control, and automation solutions.
• Understanding of UL508A panels, PLC-based systems, and systems integration.

Responsibilities

• Meet sales goals for VFDs, soft starters, industrial controls, and UL508A panels.
• Generate sales leads, develop opportunities, and close new business.
• Visit customer sites to review technical challenges and new applications for WEG Automation products.
• Coordinate with WEG Area Managers and Automation Sales Engineers to gain new business.
