Nexus Power in Portland, OR seeks an Account Manager to cover OEMs for our growing electrical manufacturer's representative agency. You will act as a trusted advisor, translating customer needs into technical and commercial guidance, and drive growth with disciplined account management.

The role requires self-direction, strong communication, and the ability to travel to account locations. Experience in electrical components and willingness to learn rapidly are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing and working effectively within a team environment.
• Enthusiasm for solving problems.
• Electrical component background with the ability to learn and adapt quickly to new developments.
• Growth minded with accountability to sales goals.
• Possess a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain productive working relationships with assigned OEMs at all levels of their organizations.
• Communicate and report sales progress/status versus yearly and quarterly order expectations to interested parties.
• Conduct technical presentations to customer engineering, procurement, or sales team to influence specifications.
• Provide training, joint sales calls and applications support.
• Travel to and visit account locations to foster customer relationships.
