Bausch + Lomb is seeking an Ocular Specialty Representative in Hackensack, NJ. This remote field-based role involves regional ophthalmology and optometrist market coverage with 25%–50% travel, reporting to the Regional Sales Manager.

You will drive sales growth for our eye health portfolio and build strong customer partnerships to protect and improve sight. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree and specialty pharma sales experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science, business or related discipline required.
• Specialty pharmaceutical sales experience.
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication & presentation skills.
• Experience using CRM (Salesforce) and MS Office 365.
• Willing to travel 25–50% and reside in territory.

Responsibilities

• Build territory business plans using analytical tools and strategic direction from home office.
• Drive territory performance through growth in prescribing and market share.
• Stay current on managed care coverage and communicate with health care providers.
• Use clinical selling techniques to influence treatment and healthcare decisions.
• Manage promotional budgets and expenditures within the business plan.
• Visit ophthalmologists and optometrists per call plan and assess prescription activity and growth.
• Utilize FDA-guided samples to maximize promotional impact.
