Job summary

Bausch + Lomb seeks an Ocular Specialty Representative to join the Pharma team in a remote field-based role, covering the Houston South geography. You will manage ophthalmology and optometrist markets, drive sales growth, and build partnerships with customers and colleagues across the region.

Reporting to Regional Sales Manager, the OSR will use clinical selling techniques, manage budgets, and influence prescribing patterns while traveling 25–50% and maintaining territory activity within FDA

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science, business or related discipline required.
• Specialty pharmaceutical sales experience is a must.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Use analytical tools to build territory business plans from home office direction.
• Drive territory performance through growth in prescribing and market share.
• Stay current on managed care coverage and communicate with healthcare providers.
• Utilize promotional budget within the business plan and guide activities.
• Visit ophthalmologists and optometrists per call plan and assess prescription activity.
• Use FDA-guided samples to maximize impact with promotional audience.
