Qualifications

• 2+ years of Ocean Import experience within a Freight Forwarding environment.
• Ability to handle the full A-Z import process independently.
• Strong understanding of ocean freight documentation and import procedures.
• Experience communicating with carriers, agents, customs brokers, and customers.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Responsibilities

• Track and monitor shipments, ensuring timely updates and issue resolution.
• Prepare and process import documentation including Bills of Lading, Arrival Notices, Customs documentation, and Delivery Orders.
• Ensure accurate shipment costing, invoicing, file management, and margin control.
• Handle FCL and LCL shipments while maintaining service levels and compliance standards.
• Resolve shipment delays, discrepancies, and customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
