A global freight forwarding company is seeking an Import / Export Coordinator to join their office in Jamaica, NY. 1~3+ years of working experience in the freight forwarding industry or work experience in customer service field preferred, a A.A. degree, and excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook). This is a full-time direct hire position. Entry-level candidates and new graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities

• Coordinate international air, ocean, and ground freight shipment
• Arrange bookings with airlines, steamship lines, and trucking companies
• Prepare and review shipping documentation (Commercial Invoice, Packing List, B/L, AWB)
• Manage AES filings and export documentation
• Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs regulations and export control requirements
• Communicate with customers regarding shipment status and documentation requirements
• Work closely with customs brokers and overseas agents
• Monitor cargo movement and resolve delays or discrepancies
• Maintain accurate shipment records in TMS/ERP system
• Support government-related shipments in compliance with federal regulation
