Job summary

ALS Recruiting Ltd is seeking an experienced Ocean Import Coordinator to join its Houston-area team. This hands-on role manages ocean import shipments from pre-alert through final delivery, working closely with customers, overseas agents, carriers, customs brokers, truckers and internal teams.

You will coordinate end-to-end shipments, review documentation, track delays, ensure smooth customs clearance and accurate billing support.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' ocean import/freight forwarding experience.
• Strong knowledge of ocean import processes and documentation.
• Experience working with ocean carriers/NVOCCs.
• Familiarity with customs clearance procedures.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple shipments.
