Responsibilities include preparing quotations, tracking shipments, and communicating delays or issues to clients and internal teams. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0-2 years freight forwarding experience preferred.
• Basic math & geography skills.
• Ability to analyze numerical data and understand components, relationships, find patterns and draw conclusions.
• Basic knowledge or ability to learn CargoWise preferred.
• Basic knowledge or ability to learn freight movement, ocean vendors, space configurations, container loads, loading constraints, regulatory requirements, pricing, service routings, profitability.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day ocean import and export of shipments.
• Prepare profitable quotations.
• Complete shipment process in Cargowise with data entry, bookings, routing, and milestone updates.
• Track and communicate delays, damages, and issues to customers.
• Ensure shipments are billed within company guidelines and timelines.
• Coordinate recovery/delivery with cartage agents and international partners.
