Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics is seeking an International Operations Agent II to coordinate daily import/export activities forUS shipments across all modes. You will qualify customer requirements, prepare quotations, set schedules, and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires 3+ years in export/import and 5+ years in international freight forwarding, with IATA/TSA knowledge and CCS certification.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in export/import operations.
• 5+ years experience as freight forwarder for international operations.
• Basic IATA/NVOCC, FAA, TSA, Export Regulations, AES and General CBP knowledge.
• CCS-Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) certification required.
• Dangerous Goods Certification (Preferred).
• ITAR, DG or TSA knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Qualify shipping requirements with customers and gather details for quotes.
• Prepare profitable quotations accurately.
• Set shipping schedules and communicate with customers, deliverers and ports.
• Coordinate import/export shipments and review orders.
• Track delays and resolve issues to meet timelines.
• Ensure shipments are billed per company guidelines.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies.
