Job summary

Turkon America Inc. in Secaucus, NJ is seeking an Ocean Import/Export Documentation Clerk who is detail-oriented and proactive to join our Customer Service team. You will oversee freight bookings and related documentation while delivering high-quality support to our customers.

The role requires data accuracy, timely processing, and collaboration with SAP and terminal systems. You will coordinate with management and other departments, prepare schedules, and help issue BLs as needed, working

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in logistics, warehouse operations or transportation.
• Minimum 2 years in customer service, ideally logistics or supply chain.
• High School diploma required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, able to work independently.
• SAP system experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process all booking requests accurately and timely.
• Verify data in the system and input missing information.
• Update SAP and Terminal systems and ensure accuracy.
• Ensure timely communications with customers and teams.
• Maintain accurate data for BL issuance.
• Prepare weekly schedules and distribute to customers.
• Communicate daily with customers and management.
• Monitor service levels and report failures to management.
• Handle all customer requests promptly.
• Assist CS staff as needed and time permitting.
• Cross-train in other team areas.
• Perform duties as assigned by management.
