Job summary

FNS, Inc. in Torrance, CA is seeking an experienced logistics professional to manage ocean import operations and documentation. You will coordinate shipments from origin to destination, ensure regulatory compliance, and liaise with carriers and brokers to meet delivery timelines.

The role requires an Associate's or Bachelor's degree, and preferably experience in international freight forwarding. English and Korean bilingual candidates are a plus; strong MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in ocean import operations or international freight forwarding preferred.
• English and Korean bilingual a plus.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Strong at planning in advance time.

Responsibilities

• Deliver shipments on time per customer requests.
• Coordinate full-cycle ocean import shipments from origin to final destinations.
• Prepare and review import documentation for import customs clearance.
• Ensure compliance with CBP, FMC, and other regulatory requirements.
• Communicate effectively with carriers, customs brokers, overseas agents, and internal departments.
• Track, trace, and monitor progress of shipments and deliveries to ensure timely processing.
• Issue delivery orders and coordinate final-mile delivery with trucking companies.
• Maintain accurate records and data entry in the internal system.
