Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation in the United States is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to deliver in-facility therapy, implement recovery programs, and work closely with the rehab team to restore patients’ physical abilities and independence. Reporting to the Director of Rehab, you will engage patients with compassionate, patient-centered care.

The role requires an accredited OT Assistant program, NBCOT certification, and state licensure or eligibility.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
• Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• They must be licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy programs and activities as part of patient recovery plans.
• Deliver therapy treatments and follow developed recovery plans to restore function.
• Collaborate with the care team to support holistic patient independence.
