Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation seeks an Occupational Therapy Assistant to help patients regain strength and independence within in-facility settings, reporting to the Director of Rehab. You will implement occupational therapy programs, follow prescribed recovery plans, and deliver compassionate treatments designed to restore function and improve daily living activities.

Collaboration with peers and referrals support holistic patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
• Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• They must be licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in regaining function by implementing occupational therapy programs and activities.
• Follow developed recovery plans and deliver OT treatments.
• Collaborate with the rehab team to support patient-centered care and outcomes.
• Provide compassionate, patient-focused therapy to improve independence and daily living activities.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program

Initial certification from NBCOT

Licensed and/or eligible for licensure in state of practice
