Stormont Vail Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat patients with neurological, musculoskeletal, sensory, respiratory, and cardiac conditions, aiming to restore function and reduce pain. Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree and OT licensure with NBCOT preferred. BLS certification is required within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Complete evaluations of range of motion, strength, motor planning, and ADL status.
• Establish and provide appropriate treatment methods to improve physical and emotional well-being.
• Review referrals and patient records to determine the best treatment plan.
• Fabricate upper extremity splints/orthotic devices and adaptive equipment as needed.
• Educate patient, family, and staff on OT techniques and home programs.
• Record treatment progress in the patient chart and/or computer system.
