Job summary

Stormont Vail Health is seeking a Physical Therapist to plan and administer treatments for patients with neurological, musculoskeletal, and other systems’ impairments. You will assess, document, and adjust plans of care to restore function and reduce pain.

The role requires a PT license in Kansas and at least 1 year of licensed practice, with responsibilities spanning evaluation, care planning, and interprofessional collaboration within a 40-hour workweek.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in physical therapy or related field.
• Active PT license in Kansas (KSBHA) required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in licensed physical therapy practice.

Responsibilities

• Performs and documents the initial examination, testing, evaluation, and diagnosis.
• Reviews documentation and revises the plan of care as needed.
• Develops plan of care including frequency, duration and goals of intervention.
• Delegates tasks to rehabilitation technicians under supervision.
• Coordinates with other practitioners to integrate physical therapy into patient care.
• Documents discharge plan and discharge summary when indicated.
• Oversees documentation for services including billing entries.
