Job summary

Stormont Vail Health seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to assess, plan, and deliver comprehensive therapy for patients with neurological, musculoskeletal, sensory, and cardiorespiratory conditions. You will document initial exams, develop care plans, and coordinate with the care team to support patient recovery.

Responsibilities include revising plans as needed, supervising rehab staff, and ensuring accurate documentation for billing and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in physical therapy is required.
• 1 year of experience in licensed physical therapy practice.
• Kansas PT license (KSBHA) required.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document initial examination, testing, evaluation, and diagnosis.
• Review and revise the plan of care as needed.
• Develop plan of care including frequency, duration, and goals.
• Supervise rehabilitation technicians and PT assistants.
• Coordinate with other practitioners to integrate PT with overall care.
• Document discharge plan and summary when indicated.
• Oversight of documentation for billing and coding for PT services.
• Educate patients, families, and staff on therapy plans and progress.
• Assist in research for performance improvement and evidence-based practice.
