Job summary

AVIR at Eagle Pass is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our in-house rehabilitation team. We are hiring for both Full-Time and Per Diem opportunities, with a focus on patient-centered care and collaboration within an interdisciplinary team to improve residents' functional abilities and quality of life.

The OT will evaluate residents, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide skilled services to enhance ADLs, strength, coordination, balance, and independence.

Qualifications

• Licensed Texas OT in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program.
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience in skilled nursing or similar setting preferred.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
• Provide skilled occupational therapy services based on residents’ needs, goals, and plan of care.
• Address activities of daily living, strength, coordination, balance, fine motor skills, and functional independence.
• Monitor residents' progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
• Educate residents and caregivers on therapeutic techniques, safety, adaptive strategies, and home exercise programs.
• Collaborate with COTAs, PTs, PTAs, SLPs, nursing staff, physicians, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
• Participate in care planning and communicate residents' progress and needs to the appropriate team members.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Maintain compliance with facility, state, and federal regulations.

AVIR at Eagle Pass is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our in-house rehabilitation team. We are hiring for both Full-Time and Per Diem opportunities.
