Job summary

AVIR at Victoria in Victoria, TX seeks a compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our in-house rehabilitation team. The OT will provide patient-centered care within a collaborative interdisciplinary setting in a skilled nursing/subacute rehabilitation environment.

Responsibilities include evaluating residents, developing treatment plans, delivering OT services to enhance daily living skills, and documenting progress while maintaining compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Current Texas OT license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited OT program.
• Experience in skilled nursing or subacute rehabilitation preferred.

• Provide skilled OT services based on residents' needs, goals, and plan of care.
• Improve activities of daily living, strength, coordination, balance, fine motor skills, and functional independence.
• Monitor progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
• Educate residents and caregivers on therapeutic techniques, safety, adaptive strategies, and home exercise programs.
• Collaborate with COTAs, PTs, PTA s, SLPs, nursing staff, physicians, and other team members.
• Participate in care planning and communicate residents' progress and needs to the team.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Maintain compliance with facility, state, and federal regulations.

AVIR at Victoria is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our in-house rehabilitation team. We are hiring for both Full-Time and Per Diem opportunities.

This is an excellent opportunity for an OT who enjoys providing patient-centered care and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to help residents improve their functional abilities, independence, and quality of life.

Position Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
• Provide skilled occupational therapy services based on residents' needs, goals, and plan of care.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve activities of daily living, strength, coordination, balance, fine motor skills, and functional independence.
