AVIR at Eagle Pass is seeking a Per Diem Physical Therapist to join our in-house rehabilitation team in Eagle Pass, TX. You will evaluate residents, design individualized PT plans, and provide therapeutic services to improve mobility and independence.

Qualifications

• Texas PT license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience in skilled nursing/subacute rehab preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized PT plans.
• Provide skilled PT services per plan of care.
• Deliver therapeutic exercises, gait, balance, and mobility training.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Educate residents and caregivers on mobility and exercise.
• Collaborate with PTAs, OTs, SLPs, nursing staff and physicians.
• Document accurately and timely.

AVIR at Eagle Pass is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Per Diem Physical Therapist (PT) to join our in-house rehabilitation team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Physical Therapist who enjoys providing patient-centered care, working with residents, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to help residents improve mobility, function, and independence.

Position Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans.
• Provide skilled physical therapy services based on residents' needs, goals, and plan of care.
• Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, transfer training, mobility training, and functional activities.
• Monitor residents' progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
• Educate residents and caregivers regarding mobility, safety, therapeutic exercises, and functional activities.
• Collaborate with PTAs, OTs, COTAs, SLPs, nursing staff, physicians, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
• Participate in care planning and communicate residents' progress and needs.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Maintain compliance with facility, state, and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Current Texas Physical Therapist (PT) license in good standing.
